Built on community, culture and craftsmanship

Lakay means home, and that is exactly how every client should feel the moment they walk through the door. Welcomed, comfortable, respected.

Mac spent years behind the chair earning a following one cut at a time before opening his own shop on Powell Street in early 2026. When the doors opened, his clients followed him across the city, because a barber you trust is worth the trip.

This is a shop that blends classic barbering with modern styles. Every service gets the time it deserves, finished with straight razor detail and a hot towel. It is more than a place to get a haircut. It is a space to connect, relax and be yourself.
